Manuel Mattz joined the K'ima:w Medical Center in November 2021. As a member of the Hoopa Valley Tribe, Manuel worked in Tribal Government administrative and operational roles for over five years, starting in 2016. He also worked as a bookkeeping intern for a small student loan organization and a financial research intern for a financial media company.

Manuel is a recipient of the Bill & Melinda Gates Millennial Scholarship, the Wiaasal (Great Oak) Future Leaders Scholarship, and the Oregon State University MSB Coleman Fellowship. Manuel has an undergraduate degree in finance and expects to complete an MS in Business concentrated in Financial Analytics in 2024.

Manuel is immensely excited to apply accounting and data analytical models to improve fiscal operations and better serve the community's healthcare needs.
