TUEKWE GEORGE

Tuekwe George joined K'ima:w Medical Center February 2023. He has a Finance degree with experience in multiple industries including Health Care, Tribal Governments, Tribal Economics, IT, and Financial Services.

He attended Santa Clara University and was a founding member of the school’s first American Indian Organization bringing awareness of American Indian culture to the campus and serving the local community with dancers and guest speakers such as Dennis Banks and Navajo Code Talkers.  He began his career in the San Francisco Bay Area working at the global HQ for Hitachi Data Systems. He paved a path that led him to Wall Street and then to a large tribal corporation in the Midwest. His experience has afforded him valuable insight into many corporate enterprises such as SBA 8(a) Business Development programs driving tribal economics.

Tuekwe is a member of the Yurok Tribe and a fellow graduate of Hoopa High. He is excited to be serving the needs of the community at K’ima:w Medical Center.
