Community Notification

K’ima:w Medical Center has received an Indian Health Service Award for design and construction of staff quarters.  It has been determined that having adequate and available housing is essential to attract and retain long-term Medical Service Providers in Hoopa.  This award  will allow for the site development and construction of housing for medical service providers that will be in close proximity of the existing Clinic.  The proposed location is just north and adjacent to the K’ima:w Dental Clinic on the west side of Airport Rd., Hoopa, CA.   The proposed location will be designed to allow easy walking access to the total K’ima:w Medical Center campus.

A Community meeting will be held at the Tribal Council Chambers at the Neighborhood Facilities on May 10, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend to review this and other K’ima:w Medical Center Building Projects. Light refreshments will be provided.
