K'ima:w Medical Center has partnered with Infinite Consulting Services (ICS) to ensure our organization's systems, networks, data and applications all connect and function properly. The IT team handles three major areas:

  • Deploys and maintains business applications, services and infrastructure (servers, networks, storage)
  • Monitors, optimizes and troubleshoots the performance of applications, services and infrastructure
  • Oversees the security and governance of applications, services and infrastructure

The IT staff have different responsibilities within the team that break into several key areas including:

Administration: ICS will handle the day-to-day deployment, operation and monitoring of our IT environment, including systems, networks and applications. They perform a range of other duties such as software upgrades, user training, software license management, procurement, security, data management and observing adherence to K'ima:w Medical Center's process and compliance requirements.

Support: ICS Support Help Desk staff specialize in answering questions, gathering information and directing troubleshooting efforts for hardware and software. Contact support@ics.tech

Applications: Our providers rely on Electronic Medical Records/Electronic Health Record software (EMR/EHR) to see patients and share information with healthcare providers such as laboratories and specialists. Clinical application software require our certified and trained clinical application technicians to maintain and troubleshoot each day to allow our providers the ability to move quickly through their patient workflows ensuring smooth operations between our different clinical applications.

Compliance: As a healthcare organization we are obligated to observe varied government and healthcare regulatory requirements. Our IT staff play a major role in securing and monitoring access to data and applications to ensure such resources are used according to established governance policy that meets regulatory requirements. They are deeply involved with security tasks and routinely monitors all data and applications to prevent, detect, investigate, and report possible breaches.
