Certified Medical Assistant or Medical Assistant - FT/Regular
Job Summary:
Provides administrative, clerical and technical support to the physician; under the direct supervision of the physician, performs basic clinical tasks and data management; position is responsible for technically related patient care that is within the scope of practice for California Medical Assistants; takes direction from and reports information concerning patients to the provider or care manager to ensure efficient and effective patient care. Responsible for bringing patients from the waiting room to the patient care area and performing assessments/examinations in accordance with KMC’s policies and procedures for providing age specific care.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Medical assistant certificate (if applying for the CMA)
- Proficient in Medical Terminology
Salary Range:
Certified Medical Assistant – $25.67 - $29.04 per hour DOE
Medical Assistant – $22.05 - $25.25 per hour DOE
