My name is Natasha Bradberry, a proud Hoopa tribal member and a descendant of both the Yurok and Karuk tribes. I am excited to share with you my experience and dedication in the field of healthcare. Over the course of the past 8 years, I have had the privilege of working at K'ima:w Medical Center in various positions. My journey started in the pharmacy department, where I gained valuable knowledge about medications and their proper usage. From there, I moved onto the role of Patient Benefits Coordinator. Gaining a thorough understanding of the administrative side of healthcare. One of my most rewarding experiences was working as an Elder's Advocate in partnership with Health and Human Services. This role allowed me to provide crucial support and advocacy to elderly individuals, ensuring they received the care and attention they deserved. During this time, I also completed two years of Case Management skills training, enhancing my ability to create and implement personalized care plans. I am proud to mention that I have successfully completed the IHS CHR basic training, received thorough training from a registered nurse and learned how to accurately take patient vitals, further solidifying my expertise in the healthcare field. These trainings have equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide comprehensive care and support to individuals in need.
